About PaceLine Communication Solutions
PaceLine Communication Solutions (PLCS) was founded by Jan Lee in 2003 in beautiful Tampa Bay to offer training and coaching for executives, managers and professionals using the PaceLine leadership model developed by Philomena Slater.
Jan was introduced to the PCM model in 2005.
She immediately saw the benefits of this model in her own communication and was amazed at how quickly those she taught assimilated and incorporated PCM into their everyday communication approach. The results were so impressive that Jan decided to make PCM the main focus of PLCS's training, coaching and consulting platform.
PLCS now offers PCM training for executives, managers and professionals and educators as well as individualized consulting services for businesses, individuals, families and educators.
Jan is certified by Dr. Taibi Kahler's organization, Kahler Communications, to teach PCM and has earned separate certifications for business and education. All trainers associated with PLCS are also certified PCM trainers.
Jan has her degree in Communications from the University of Maryland, College Park. She has spent her career in training, employee and organizational development, human resources and executive leadership. She has worked for companies of every size and in every shape!
Just prior to opening PLCS, she was National Director of Learning and Development for a major wireless company where she directed 150 trainers, curriculum designers and contractors in multiple locations supporting 7,000 internal clients. She has also been a General Manager in the communications industry where she was responsible for the results and well-being of over 600 employees.
Throughout her career Jan has remained passionate about helping people develop into all they can be. She believes in people, has a light-hearted, fun demeanor, is responsible, and gets results!
Jan volunteers her time to work with abused, neglected and abandoned children, and helps organize Tampa Bay's annual Child Abuse Awareness Fund Raiser. She has also founded Project Connect, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving communication skills in children and adolescents. You may have guessed that she uses PCM with children as well!
